Fifty Six North is a contemporary design company based in Edinburgh and working throughout the UK. It is a one stop design service where the partners, Helen Evans and Richard Anstice, see each project through from concept to completion, inclusive of interior design, lighting schemes, furniture design and manufacture.

Fifty Six North have the skills, experience and contacts to provide a large-scale commercial project to a small one off domestic piece of furniture. The company offers free initial consultation and then provides plans and drawings plus further consultations to come up with an individual and unique design for each client.

Fifty Six North prides itself on its professional service and customer support. Simplified drawings and explanations are considered paramount, as are detailed quotes, working to a strict budget and timescale along with continual feedback to the client regarding progress.

Fifty Six North's furniture has been well received at art and design exhibitions both in the UK and Europe. Between 24 April and 8 June 2003 there is an opportunity to see selected pieces of furniture on exhibition at The Lighthouse, Glasgow - Scotland's centre for Architecture and Design.
